With immediate effect, Beatport have announced their decision to make Friday the new release day and therefore will be changing the storefront update day from Monday to Friday, starting this week.
The Friday update will feature releases that have been released since the previous Saturday. The cutoff is therefore Friday which means that if you release on Saturday, your release will only get featured on the following Friday.
Moving forward, Beatport are therefore encouraging labels to schedule their releases for Fridays; this will ensure the storefront always has the freshest content for their customers and will benefit labels and their releases going into the weekend when they experience the most traffic.
It is also worth noting that since their recent store migration, new releases go live on the Beatport store at around 09:00 GMT, 00:00 MST.
